ACG ANNOUNCES TOP 40 FASTEST GROWING COMPANIES IN GEORGIA
Honorees will be recognized at the 2023 Georgia Fast 40 Celebration at the Buckhead Theatre on June 27, 2023
Green Worldwide Shipping®, a leading global freight forwarder, headquartered in Decatur, GA, is honored — for the fourth year in a row — to be included among the Fastest 40 growing mid-market companies by the Association for Corporate Growth’s® (ACG) Atlanta Chapter.
“It is incredibly gratifying to receive ACG Atlanta’s Fast 40 recognition, for the fourth year in a row, as Green Worldwide Shipping celebrates our 15th year in business. This is a shared honor that highlights the efforts of Green’s employees, global partners, and clients who work closely together and demonstrates that innovative, human-centric freight forwarding is achievable.”
Thomas Jorgensen, President & CEO
Green Worldwide Shipping
Applicants were required to submit three years of verifiable revenue and employment growth records, which were validated by the national accounting firm, Cherry Bekaert LLP. An ACG Committee evaluated each company and conducted in-person interviews with all qualified applicants. All companies on the list are for-profit and headquartered in Georgia. These firms reported 2022 year-end revenues ranging from $15 to $500 million.
“These 40+ companies represent almost 10,000 new jobs and over 2.6 billion dollars in revenue growth over the last three years. In speaking with many of the CEO’s, the supportive business environment and accessibility of capital are contributors to growth. By far the biggest challenge is the tightness of the labor market. We are proud to honor these companies and look forward to learning more insights online and at the celebration in June.”
