Q4 DONATIONS IN 2024 SUPPORTS SUSTAINABLE FARMING
At Green Worldwide Shipping, we believe that sustainability is more than a corporate value—it’s an active commitment. Through our partnership with Trees for the Future (TREES), we continue to support reforestation, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable development in communities worldwide.
Through the Green Trees program, Green Worldwide Shipping proudly donated 38,000 trees in Q4 of 2024, supporting our mission to become one of the most one of the most sustainable and responsible transportation logistics companies. Last quarter’s contribution brings Green’s total donation to over 653,437 since launching the program in 2019.
TREES: RESTORING DEGRADED LAND AND BUILDING SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOODS
With support from partners like Green Worldwide Shipping, TREES’ works with local farmers to equip them with resources and training to ensure their long-term success. A “farmer-first,” three-phase approach enables TREES to build lasting partnerships with local farmers built on equity, trust, and shared goals while supporting farmers to establish their own futures and resilience.
Q4 2024 TREES DONATION IMPACT
Green’s Q4 donation of 38,000 trees will continue to support TREES’ efforts in sustainable land management and responsible farming. Green’s 2024 donations helped TREES support farmers who are transforming climate-smart practices into sustainable economic opportunities. By utilizing local resources and infrastructure, they are creating jobs, launching businesses, and strengthening supply networks that drive long-term resilience. Equally important, through the TREES program, farmers who previously used chemical fertilizers have transitioned away from the costly, harmful chemicals to create their own compost systems, creating a sustainable source of organic fertilizer. On average, TREES farmers grow 17 plant species, including nitrogen-fixing trees that improve soil health and naturally repel pests. This holistic and natural approach lowers farming costs, boosts crop yields all while strengthening the local ecosystem.
