Supplier of machinery for power plants, oil refineries, and manufacturing facilities.

BACKGROUND

The client was experiencing communication issues leading to delays and a lackluster sense of urgency around their shipments.  Using The Green Way, our 33 inspiring fundamentals of service, we were able to deliver an exceptional shipping experience and develop a strong freight partnership.

THE CHALLENGE

Our client was transporting industrial parts from Frankfurt, Germany to Atlanta, Georgia when Green freight experts noticed the shipment was missing vital documentation needed for Customs clearance. Due to the strict delivery date, Green Worldwide Shipping immediately contacted the client and discovered that the client’s agent in Germany was experiencing issues with their outgoing emails.  The issue was quickly resolved, and the team was able to proceed with the shipment.

The parts ended up arriving two days earlier than expected and delivered without any disruption. Implementation of The Green Way fundamentals allowed us identify breaks in communication and keep the client informed throughout the entire process.
